Of counsel to Sokoloff & Weinstein, P.A., is David Cohen, Esq., who graduated from the University of Maryland 1990 with a degree in criminal justice, and in 1993 he graduated from the Nova University School of Law. He has been practicing exclusively in the area of workers' compensation law since 1993, most recently, prior to opening his own practice, with the Law Offices of Philip J. Feldman and Associates. He entered into private practice as a sole practitioner in February 2000.
Also of counsel to our firm is Stanley Buky, Esq ., who did his undergraduate studies at University of Florida and graduated from Georgia State University in 1977 with magna cum laude honors. He graduated from the University of Florida College of Law in 1980. After having been intimately involved with representing insurance companies and big businesses and having seen their dealings firsthand for over seventeen years, Mr. Buky sought more personal satisfaction in the practice of law. In 1997, Mr. Buky opened his own law firm representing people who have been wrongfully injured at the hands of negligent drivers, airlines, cruise lines, big business, physicians, hospitals, nursing homes, careless manufacturers of defective products, pharmaceuticals and dietary supplements.
